Suspension of Access to the Beneficial Owners Register to the general public
Following the ruling of the Judgement of the Court published on 22nd November 2022 which provided that information regarding the beneficial ownership of entities shall not be accessible to the general public, the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property of Cyprus announced that access to the Register of Beneficial Owners for the general public is suspended.
The obligation of affected entities to submit and update the Beneficial Owners register is not affected and remains valid.
